Carrie Fitzsimmons
Carrie Fitzsimmons is the Executive Director for ArtScience Labs, an international network of labs founded by Harvard Professor David Edwards that aims to promote socially beneficial innovations through cultural experimentation at frontiers of science. Fitzsimmons is also the Founding Director of the ArtScience Prize, a year-long competition through which teens develop innovative art and design ideas around an annual scientific theme.
Fitzsimmons received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with a double major in art and economics. Prior to joining ASL, Fitzsimmons was Chief of Staff at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston.
