Erik Logan
Erik Logan joined Harpo, Inc. in 2008 as executive vice president. In 2009, he was named President, Harpo Productions along with Sheri Salata. They oversee and manage all Harpo entities as well as lead Harpo Productions’ efforts as the company develops new programming beyond The Oprah Winfrey Show for syndication, primetime, cable, radio, digital and emerging platforms, such as the Dr. Oz Show and The Nate Berkus Show. Logan currently sits on the Board of Directors for OWN, The Oprah Winfrey Network.
Logan joined Harpo from XM Satellite Radio, where he served as executive vice president for programming and broadcast operations. While there, he built the content platform and helped grow subscribers to beyond 9 million. He also negotiated partnerships and managed day-to-day relationships with major content providers including Major League Baseball, PGA Tour, CNN, Clear Channel Communications and Fox News. Prior to XM, Logan served as president of programming for Citadel Broadcasting based in New York.
Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Infinity Broadcasting/CBS over a decade-long tenure programming in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Milwaukee, Tampa and Oklahoma City. In 2002 and 2003 he helped make Chicago’s WUSN-FM the #1 country music station in America as operations manager and country format captain for all Infinity country stations. His first job in media was in 1985 as a radio station mascot in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Logan has sat on the Board of Directors for the Country Music Association for the past 9 years and is currently Chairman of the Marketing and TV Committee. He is married to wife Erin and has two daughters, Jacksyn, 5 years old and Hudsyn, 2 year old.
